The Hector's World Safety Button is a free download to help protect you when you are on the computer.
After you have installed the Button, a Hector's World character will swim in the top right-hand corner of your computer screen.

If you see something that makes you feel confused or scared when you are using the computer, you can click on Hector (or one of his friends) to cover the screen while you get some help.

Want to learn more? - below are some useful links (or google 'Hector Protector Button')
We are installing the Hector buttons on the school computers so the children will become familiar with Hector and learn more about internet safety.

Aiming High - Special Needs initiative

The Aiming High project is a government initiative aimed at transforming services for disabled children and their familes. Main principles:

  • disabled children and young people to access positive experiences independently of their families
  • high quality information and clarity about decision making
  • child centred services delivered by many groups from "assessment" to "service delivery"
  • informed decisions about treatment, care, support and shaping services
