Colchester Castle - March 2008

Hello, Class 2 here, we hope you will like our description about Colchester castle. On the 19th of March we went to Colchester castle. First we watched a video then did three activities.

Next we built a round house .. ... and then a temple.
After lunch we did activities round the museum (in-between we did things like trying roman helmets!)
We saw a slaves neck chain .. ... and some mosaics.

We were able to go down to the cellars (the only original Roman part of the castle)

Near the end of our wonderful trip we went on a story walk through arches in the building.

Once our story tour was over we had a few minutes to go in the dungeons and then we went on the coach home.
