Year 4 children joined 1300 other year 4s at Wilberforce Road in Cambridge for a mini olympics organised by South Cambs School Sports Partnership. The morning and afternoon each comprised of eight events including long jump, relay, football skills, hockey skills, throwing, golf target shooting and cheerleading! We were joined by children from the Granta School at Linton. Our children helped and supported the Granta pupils and made them feel part of the group. The event was lead by High School sports leaders. It was a hot day, it was fun, very well organised and the children had a great time - and received a complimentry t-shirt.
