Science - Plants

Class 1 and Class 2 are learning about plants for science.
We are going to have a kitchen garden.
We are having plants like strawberry and tomato plants.
We are going to keep a weekly diary.
Mrs Davies and Mrs Clarke are going to help us every Tuesday.
We hope to have some photos of our plants soon.

Week 1 – 22nd April. Class 2
We put some soil into the tyres and pots ready for our plants. Then we put some worms in the soil. In the classroom we are going to start sowing some seeds and plant them later. Click here for more photos |

Week 2 - Mid May
Our plants are growing and we planted lots of plant indoors. They are in our classroom.

Week 6/7 - Mid June
First we went through the gate. And then we had a look at the strawberries that we put in and looked at the tyres with the potatoes. And then we planted some yellow flowers. And then we had to go. Good bye. By Hayden and Liam

Late June
Now the fun starts as Class 1 and 2 are able to harvest the first of their crops.
